Our Journey began in 2021, inside a small classroom in Orangi Town, Karachi. We choose Orangi Town because it is a densely populated area, lacking basic living needs. The poverty-stricken population can barely afford food and accommodation which makes getting an education a big challenge for the children of Orangi Town.

Shaista Academy has taken a step to resolve this issue by providing affordable (and even free of cost) education. In August, we rented out a purpose-built premise allowing us to have 300 students per shift. Currently, we are able to accommodate more than 600 students.

And this is just the beginning!
