Ruqiya Ehsan Memorial Organisation (REMO) is a privately owned Humanitarian Aid Organization hailing from Pakistan. Our goal is to empower and offer support to Children and our Society as a whole through our humanitarian Programs and projects. We believe in serving Humanity without any discrimination towards any Religion, Caste, Ethnicity, and Language. We are driven by values
REMO believes in Equity, Empathy, and Opportunity for all. These values lay the foundation of several welfare projects initiated by us, especially in the domain of providing inexpensive education, and programs to help the underprivileged in our society get access to facilities and job opportunities.
Equity
While ‘equality’ focuses on giving everyone the same treatment, ‘Equity’ focuses on acknowledging that not everyone comes from the same background and history which creates barriers. Often times these barriers cause disadvantages to those who are affected by them. Therefore, the disadvantaged communities need a significant boost before the implementation of ‘equality’. And this boost is called ‘Equity’.
Empathy
Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Welfare projects are void without the essence of empathy.
